How it works

About our live classes

  • We offer live classes Monday to Friday: resistance training (includes mobility work and Pilates), cardio and fitness training, yoga and pure Pilates
  • Each class delivers a strong workout, designed for maximum benefit. Every muscle group is worked.
  • We do each class with you, so that you can easily follow both by listening and watching.
  • Class content changes weekly to avoid muscle memory kicking in and to build your skill set.

What you need

Why not get in touch with your instructor for specific recommendations?

Resistance training, cardio and  fitness: Your body weight works at first, but as you progress and get stronger, you’ll want to use more resistance (dumbbells, kettlebells, bars, bands etc).

Once you’ve done a few of the resistance classes, we recommend that you have three sets of hand weights handy. They should be light, medium and heavy (to you).

Pilates: It’s possible to do the classes without equipment, but as you progress you will enjoy the benefits of using some equipment. We recommend you have a soft Pilates ball, Pilates ring and Pilates bands (loop and long).

Yoga: Initially you don’t need any equipment, but as you progress you will see benefits in have a cushion or foam block and small MFR balls (or tennis balls).

Resistance training

60min classes that provide a fantastic full body workout. Made up of mobility, Pilates, resistance training & functionality, each section is approximately 15mins long.

Benefits: Proven to create toned muscles, boost long-term metabolism, improve bone strength, and increase emotional well-being & energy levels. Read our article on the incredible benefits of resistance training – it’s the one form of exercise everyone over 30 should prioritise.

Pilates

45 and 60min classes that are designed to fully work your core – the powerhouse of the body. Targeting the deep core muscles, to enhance overall stability, balance, and posture.

Benefits: A strong core supports better alignment and reduces the risk of injury in daily activities or other forms of exercise.

Resistance & cardio

A 45 minute whole body workout of fitness and resistance training. Stretching, strengthening and lengthening muscles, helping to improve flexibility and range of motion.

Benefits: Increased energy levels, improved circulation, oxygen flow, and muscle efficiency, leaving you feeling more energized and less fatigued throughout the day as well as improved balance and stability.

Yoga

You’ll be carefully guided through key yoga poses in our 60min classes, requiring you to support your own body weight, building muscle strength, especially in the core, arms, and legs.

Benefits: Yoga provides both physical and mental benefits, including enhanced posture, better muscle tone, more body awareness, improved alignment and reducing strain on your spine and joints.
